NASHVILLE, TENN. – Grand Ole Opry member and powerhouse vocalist Lauren Alaina today releases blazing new song “Household” and its official music video following recent milestone achievement earning RIAA Diamond-certification alongside peer and childhood friend Kane Brown on smash “What Ifs.”

“’Household’ is the perfect blend of southern grit and sass,” shares Alaina. “We have all been in a ‘how much hell can house hold’ scenario. I wrote this song after listening to one of my best friends vent about her relationship. It may not reflect my own marriage, but I think it showcases my personality flawlessly.”

Exemplifying Alaina’s “radio-perfection country tracks—augmented by her soulful, expressive vocal cords” (American Songwriter), “Household” was written alongside Casey Brown, Lydia Vaughan, Parker Welling and produced by hitmaker Joey Moi. The fiery new track depicts the strain of a tumultuous relationship and cleverly asks: How much Hell can a house hold.

Listen to “Household” here.

The new song follows the release of “Those Kind Of Women,” which kicked off the chapter of new music from Alaina. Billboard notes the ode as “a tender ballad, with Alaina braiding her warm vocal with lyrics laced with imagery.” The song’s music video was the official announcement of her pregnancy, which she discussed with endearing candor on The Kelly Clarkson Show and Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Fans can see the artist who “utilizes her likeness to encourage authenticity” (Forbes) on the road this spring with Rascal Flatts on their highly anticipated Life Is A Highway Tour, and via her new web series LA Lately. The infectious series captures true-to-life conversations between Alaina and some of her closest friends. The latest episode featuring Russell and Kailey Dickerson is available now.
